Thanks George for highlighting both this topic and the company.

We have been on this soapbox for a number of years here in the UK/Europe. Over the last 12 months, I have been talking about the 'employment consumer' - and how companies really need to start thinking about candidates as customers. Applying consumer based marketing and, more importantly, customer service oriented behaviour to all candidates!

At the same time, I have been actively involved in a start-up business in Holland to build out the next generation, Web 2.0 job board which is totally driven by the candidate and recruiter experienced. www.kangarooster.com will officially launch in mid February as a job board in the Dutch market. However, we already have been receiving substantial interest from companies who could implement a 'white label' version for their career sites - providing a quantum leap forward in candidate experience. As we launch, I would welcome your (and your readers) input.
best regards

Alan
