« Employer Branding & Job Seekers' Experience | Main | How Will Younger Workers Change The Workplace? »

Alan Whitford

Thanks George for highlighting both this topic and the company.

We have been on this soapbox for a number of years here in the UK/Europe. Over the last 12 months, I have been talking about the 'employment consumer' - and how companies really need to start thinking about candidates as customers. Applying consumer based marketing and, more importantly, customer service oriented behaviour to all candidates!

At the same time, I have been actively involved in a start-up business in Holland to build out the next generation, Web 2.0 job board which is totally driven by the candidate and recruiter experienced. will officially launch in mid February as a job board in the Dutch market. However, we already have been receiving substantial interest from companies who could implement a 'white label' version for their career sites - providing a quantum leap forward in candidate experience. As we launch, I would welcome your (and your readers) input.
best regards
